Synchronized swimming at the 2008 Summer OlympicsSynchronized swimming competitions at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing will be held from August 17 to August 22, at the Beijing National Aquatics Center.Events2 sets of medals will be awarded in the following events:* Team Women * Duet Women Qualifying Criteria8 teams will qualify for the synchronized swimming events.24 duets will qualify and the qualification rules are as follows: * 8 duets from the NOCs qualified for the team event * 16 duets from the Olympic Qualifying Tournament Beijing 2008 (at least 1 from each continent) |
